𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭?

Sometimes, when we achieve a lot in life and accomplish many things, we find ourselves asking: 𝐼𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑡? 𝐷𝑜 𝑤𝑒 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑑𝑜 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒?

To all of you—my friends and acquaintances on social media—many of you excel in various fields, whether it’s writing, painting, dancing, or other areas. Yet, despite our talents, we often become skeptical, especially after facing criticism. And even if no one else critiques us, our minds can play the role of devil’s advocate, leading to self-criticism.

Do you know the last words of Leonardo da Vinci, the legendary painter? He said,

“𝙸 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚘𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚍 𝙶𝚘𝚍 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝚋𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝚖𝚢 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚔 𝚍𝚒𝚍 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚚𝚞𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝚒𝚝 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎.”

Even the legends are skeptical once in a while so we are the legends in the making- we can be skeptical about our work once in a while isn’t it?

Even he, in his final moments, was dissatisfied with his work. That’s how creative souls operate. And perhaps that’s why we often say, “never settle.”

So, I just wanted to share this as a reminder: even when our minds tell us we’re not good enough, don’t let those thoughts drown you. Keep pushing forward, but remember to enjoy the journey to the fullest.

Wishing you all a great week ahead! Much Love!
